Garlic Kangkung Pasta in 10 minutes

Super easy to make a very satisfying pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • 200 g pasta of your choice
  • 1 bunch of water spinach separate leaves and the stem part
  • 2 tbsp oil to fry
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves sliced (adjust as desired)
  • 1/4 onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced (or your choice of chili)
  • 3 cherry tomato sliced (or your choice of tomato)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chili paste or chili flakes (adjust as desired)
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
  • Wash and dry the water spinach and then separate leaves and the stem part by hand.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  • Add garlic & stir fry until fragrant
  • Add onion, bell pepper and tomato and stir fry briefly.
  • Add salt, chili paste, tomato sauce and mix well.
  • Add all the stem parts of the water spinach & fry briefly and then add leaf part and fry until leaves wilt for about 1 minute. At that point, turn off the heat.
  • Add the cooked pasta & mix everything together.
  • Serve & enjoy!
