Easy Cheese Garlic Okra in 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 okra pods Ladys Fingers, washed & dried
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 40 g cheese shredded (or 2 slices)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes optional

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the okra pods thoroughly and then cut them lengthwise.
  • Start cooking your garlic and oil in a cold pan. Turn on the heat and wait a minute, the garlic will start to release its flavor into the oil.
  • Add okra and toss with a spatula to combine well with the garlic. Sprinkle a pinch of salt. Cover with a lid and cook for about one minute.
  • Remove the lid and stir-fry another minute.
  • Top with the cheese. Cover and cook until the cheese melts (about 1 minute).
  • Sprinkle chili flakes on it, if desired.
  • Serve immediately.
