Equipment

  • 25×20 cm Square Pan

Ingredients

  • 10 g gelatin powder
  • 50 ml water
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 500 ml hot water
  • Condensed milk and coconut milk for serving

Instructions

  • Place the gelatin in a small bowl.
  • Add water and set aside for about 5 min.
  • Dissolve coffee and sugar in some hot water.
  • Add the gelatin mixture and stir well.
  • Add the rest of the hot water and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Scoop up any bubbles on the surface with a spoon and discard.
  • Pour mixture into the pan and let it cool.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  • Using a knife, cut through the coffee jelly vertically and then horizontally to make cubes. You can cut them big or small cubes.
  • Serve with condensed milk and coconut milk, or with your favorite cream.
