- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 apples peeled and chopped
For the batter
- 3 large eggs at room temperature
- 100 ml milk at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons yogurt at room temperature
- 60 g all-purpose flour or plain flour
- 2 tablespoons butter for baking
Make the Caramelized Apple
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add sugar and mix well until butter and sugar dissolves.
Add the apples and cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes or until apples are tender. Season with salt.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and cook for another 2 or 3 minutes, frequently tossing, until the apples are coated.
Remove from the heat. Caramelized apple is ready!
Make the Batter & Bake
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius.
In a blender, blend the eggs, milk, yogurt, flour, and salt until you have a smooth batter. Alternatively, make the batter in a bowl with a whisk.
Place a skillet or oven-safe pan in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until it is very hot.
Remove from the oven and add the butter to the skillet/pan, swirling to coat the bottom and sides.
Add the caramelized apples to the pan and then, pour the batter on the top of the apples.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until the pancake is puffed, the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Remove from the oven
Serve warm or cold. Enjoy
